My monologue on memory and death, AMBER - A RECOGNITION OF BIRDS, will be produced by She Speaks/Flush Ink in Canada. The dates for She Speaks are March 19th (in Kitchener) and 20th (in Cambridge), 2016.

Production of AMARILIS at Duke University, North Carolina in 2016

Nehanda Loiseau, the producer of the Border of Lights Festival in New York City several years ago, is resurrecting my dramatic monologue, AMARILIS at Duke University in North Carolina in the spring of 2016.  This revival of my monologue will support and augment the full-length show BLUE ISLAND, about the Haiti/Dominican Republic border.  A panel discussion will follow the performance.    

SYNOPSIS: Elderly Amarilis, living in New Orleans, recalls her husband's murder and the massacre on the border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic in the 1930s.

My monologue AMBER - A RECOGNITION OF BIRDS will be produced as part of ROAR!, a series of solo pieces to be performed from March 4^th  through March 13^th  2016, at the Riverside Theatre in Iowa City, IA.

THE 4th OF JULY given a reading at the Kraine Theatre in NYC, November 2015

My short comedy THE 4th OF JULY was given a reading on Nov. 23rd, 2015 at the Kraine Theatre in New York City.  The event was produced by the Lama Theatre Company as part of their Monthly Question series.  This month the question was, "What Does America Have to Be Thankful For?"

SYNOPSIS:  A housewife who is an ex-Marine goes on a rant to her women's group about Mexican immigration - and has a very sympathetic take on it.

THE ELF WANTS A PROMOTION (a monologue) to be produced in Hollywood in December 2015

My comic Christmas monologue THE ELF WANTS A PROMOTION will be produced by the Actors Workout Studio in Hollywood, California as part of a holiday festival to benefit Toys for Tots on Fri., Dec. 11th & Sat., 12th, 2015.  Tickets $15 apiece.   

SANTA'S NIGHT OUT to be produced in New York City in December 2015

As part of a holiday festival, my short comedy SANTA'S NIGHT OUT will be produced at the Corner Office Theatre NYC by AlphaNYC from Dec. 13th-20th.

SYNOPSIS:  Just before Christmas, Santa joins one of his elves at a saloon.
