A DOLL'S LIFE to be produced at the Mirror Theatre in Los Angeles

In an evening of Halloween one-acts, Martha Patterson's short thriller A DOLL'S LIFE will be produced in Los Angeles. The production will run one weekend, opening Oct. 26, 2012, at The Mirror Theater, 4934 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood, CA 91601. Directed by Trace Oakley, produced by Joanne Mosconi.

Two new radio plays in Spokane, Washington by Martha Patterson

My short romantic comedy A CHRISTMAS KISS will be produced this winter at Spokane Radio Theatre (Washington state), and they will also produce my short comic futuristic play CHRISTMAS EVE, MANY YEARS FROM NOW next year, end of 2013. (It's about cave people celebrating Christmas Eve after the Apocalypse).

Monologue AMARILIS, about the Haitian massacre of 1937, produced by Cafe New York at Judson Memorial Church, Greenwich Village, NYC, August 25, 2012. This monologue will be translated along with other related pieces and performed in the Borderlands of the Dominican Republic / Haiti in October, 2012 to commemorate the Haitian "Parsley Massacre" of 1937, in which nearly 20,000 Haitians were slaughtered upon the orders of Dictator Trujillo of the DR.
