When her neighbor Sushila, a 25-year-old East Indian woman who works in business, gets locked out of her apartment down the hall, she knocks on Melinda’s door for help. Through their conversation, Melinda is enlightened about her own feelings of prejudice, as well as learning about generosity in a sexual encounter with the lonely young man who lives next door. SYNOPSIS: At a gentlemen’s club, four presidential types – all very “macho” - get together for a cozy chat around the fire, but their insolent waiter keeps interrupting them. *** THE 4th OF JULY - A Short Political Comedy (2 W, 1 M). In an evening of Halloween one-acts, Martha Patterson's short thriller A DOLL'S LIFE will be produced in Los Angeles. The production will run one weekend, opening Oct. 26, 2012, at The Mirror Theater, 4934 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood, CA 91601. Directed by Trace Oakley, produced by Joanne Mosconi.

My short romantic comedy A CHRISTMAS KISS will be produced this winter at Spokane Radio Theatre (Washington state), and they will also produce my short comic futuristic play CHRISTMAS EVE, MANY YEARS FROM NOW next year, end of 2013. (It's about cave people celebrating Christmas Eve after the Apocalypse).
