Martha Patterson is a playwright and essayist. She has written more than 185 plays and has been published in anthologies by Pioneer Drama Service, Smith & Kraus / Applause Theatre & Cinema Books, the Sheepshead Review, and Silver Birch Press. Her work has been produced Off-Off-Broadway (Harold Clurman Theatre and Creative Place Theatre) and in nineteen states. She has been produced overseas in England (Bread & Roses Theatre, London; Green Curtain Theatre, London), Scotland (Quids in Theatre), France (It's Not a Box Prods.' "Overhear Paris" event), Denmark (The Belarusian Dream Theatre), Korea (Seoul Players), Australia (Short+Sweet Festival, Sydney), and Canada (She Speaks Festival / Flush Ink). She is a member of Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity Association. She earned her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and an M.A. from Emerson College, both degrees in Theatre.
